A SWAT team was dispatched to the island more than 50
minutes after people vacationing at a campground said they heard
shooting across the lake, according to Police Chief
Sveinung Sponheim. The drive to the lake took about 20 minutes, and
once there, the team took another 20 minutes to find a boat.

Attacks in Norway
Police
have now lowered their estimate for the amount of time that Breivik had
on the island to carry out his attack before police arrived from roughly 90
minutes to 60 minutes.

The response
was delayed by a number of factors, including the decision by security
forces to wait for the arrival of a special "Delta" anti-terrorism unit
based in Oslo before raiding the island.
On Sunday,
Sveinung Sponheim, the acting police chief of Oslo, defended the
decision to have the unit travel the 45 kilometers (28 miles) between
Oslo and Utøya Island by car rather than helicopter. "It was faster
going by car," Sponheim said, according to Reuters, before
explaining that the only helicopter available to the unit was at a base
50-60 kilometers south of Oslo.

Police were
further hampered when a police boat from the nearby city of Hønefoss
almost sank. "When so many people and equipment were put into it, the
boat started to take on water, so that the motor stopped," Erik Berga,
the police operations chief in northern Buskerud Country, told Reuters.
The "Delta" unit ultimately had to commandeer recreational boats at a
pier across from Utøya Island, Berga said. When they arrived, the
gunman reportedly surrendered without resistance.

Breivik claims to have everything planned out so I'm guessing he would
have driven
the route
from Oslo to Utoya several times so that he is familiar with it and to
get
there before
the 15:45
ferry departed.
If he detonated the car bomb at 15:20
then he
is leaving
it a bit fine to get to Utoya 20 miles (35km) away in 25 minutes.
The news
report states the shooting started 90 minutes after the car bomb
detonated.
If that is
the case then the ferry must have been approx 1 hour late sailing. The
first news
report I heard about the Utoya shooting was on Sky News when they said
a
man dressed
as a policeman had come ashore beckoned people over for their ID's and
then opened
fire.
Does anyone
know what happened to the ferryman and where he was when the shooting
started and
where the ferry was when the police arrived.

bigger mystery is (IMO) why the police needed 98 mins (!!!) to appear

There are various reports ranging from 30mins to
98mins...30mins would be
"understandable"
but 90+ mins would be a scandal,

A fine
observation. If you´ve read any of my posts, I tried to point out the
very
same thing
but almost drowned under the weight of conspiracy "debunkers" here. As

today watch
norwegian tv and read norwegian press, I cannot anywhere see a
discussion
of a second shooter. That considering the several witness reports from

pointing at that fact.
It is almost
as an official curtain of a lone gunman version is now ready to be
spoon fed to
the public and every one required to swallow without a single question?
On another
point what I found almost ridiculous, is the interview with the Oslo
police chief
who when asked why no heli was sent out with a swat team to save the
youths (they
used a leaking boat!!!) replied "We only had ONE helicopter and because
it was
filled with lots of equipment, we had to use other slower means."
Later he
changed his answer to; " It was too small for our SWAT team so we had
to
use a car
and a small boat to reach the island." You cant make this stuff up. It
is
like
watching a horror movie turning into some perverted dark comedy.
So lets see
here...one of the worlds richest countries, with many Lynx and Bell
helicopters,
several dozens F16:s and with more oil and gas than man can dream of,

afford a couple of rapid SWAT helicopters? Errr...yeaahh
right. Did some

this has now
been officially changed to 17:27.
There were about 650
people on the island, everyone in Norway have a mobile phone
(we are rich
and even kids 7-9 get phones now), and witnesses say they called the
police when
the shootings started, many have claimed this in interviews.
So my
question is then, how can the police then say that the first phone call
for
help came at
17:27, 1 hour 17 minutes after the killer after my calculations is
supposed to
have killed his first two victims? If he did not show up at Utoya
before
17:27, then
what did he do in the missing 1 hour 17 minutes?

They decided not to use the apparently ideal 2 choppers because they
were too far
away, approx
50km south of oslo. one of these
choppers has a cruise speed of
250km/h,
so once in the air, it should have taken approx. 12 minutes to oslo,
another 5 to
10 minutes to the island. compare and contrast that it took 45 minutes
by car from
honefoss and these clowns apparently hadn't thought to contact local
police about
a boat.

to accomplish it than to just arm all the bad guys?

it: 30,000 weapons in the hands of drug criminals! Then all you have to

numbers. Shootings on the border, kidnappings, armed conflict across
the border
with U.S.
border agents, and so on. Violent crimes in Arizona are now being

After CIA secret rendition, rights watchdog to target state secrecy

Strasbourg, France - Europe's top human rights watchdog is set to turn
its attention
to state
secrecy, the former prosecutor who penned the body's reports on the
United
States'
kidnapping of suspected terrorists and on crime rackets in Kosovo said
Thursday.
'I am
preparing now a report on the abuse of state secrecy,' Council of
Europe
parliamentarian
Dick Marty told reporters in Strasbourg, France, where he attended a
hearing in
the European Parliament.
Marty said
the report, due to be published in September, will be his last before
he
retires in
October.

much more serious ones than this.

question that arises is if the United States is a leading terrorist
state,
if as you
say, Britain is another example of a terrorist state, how do you
distinguish
between what you describe as terrorism and what they are saying — Osama
Bin Laden
who's a terrorist? Make the distinction.

change came following a heavy lobbying campaign by the US pig industry

drop the
Swine Flu label as it was apparently cutting into pork sales. The
largest
US and world
pig producer, Smithfield Foods of Virginia, was most certainly among
those
lobbying CDC and the WHO for the name change. They won their wish.

in a targeted assassination attempt. Targeted assassination is not

the United Nations Security Council Resolution and targeted
assassination
is against U.S. law, international law, international humanitarian
law, and
international human rights law. Targeted assassination is also a crime.
We certainly
cannot encourage others to abide by the law when we so openly break it.
