Im Wikipedia-Diskussionsforum ist ein riesiger „shitstorm“ über die falsche Dienstgipfelhöhe entbrannt. Wikipedia zeigt sich unbeeindruckt. Das Handbuch “Flugzuge der Welt” von W.Green aus 1984 S.208f., einem Standardwerk, das i.w. die Daten der militärischen “Janes”-Handbücher wiedergibt und auch “NATO”-Referenz gewesen ist, bestimmt für die 1984 erstmals aufgeführte SU-25 eine Dienstgipfelhöhe schon in der ersten Exportversion der SU-25 (SU-25 MK, auf die sich die westliche Referenz bezieht) von 10.670 Metern.

I have to say, They were gonna fool a whole lot of people with this one! Thankfully, they have been caught!
The Ukraine Government supported a youtube clip that they say proves Russia had involvement and that Rebels shot down Malaysia Flight MH17. However, Due to their sloppy work, They have been caught! They have since tried to delete the file, but not before it was downloaded over 800 times! More info at links!

The rebels say that they only have anti-aircraft weapons capable of downing aircraft up to 3000 meters - well short of the 10,000 meter cruising altitude of commercial airliners.
The most sophisticated surface to air missile system known to be in rebel hands is the Strela-10, a Soviet designed system with a ceiling of about 3,000 meters. The rebels say they have used it to down several Ukrainian aircraft in recent days.
But earlier this week the Ukrainians said a missile brought down one of their transport aircraft at over 6000 meters - which they said meant it was probably fired on by regular Russian forces from the other side of the border rather than the militia.
